For Sale

Please Note: This is a tentative list of who will be offered for sale at the 2008 ARBA Convention; other rabbits may be added (younger juniors attending) and some I may decide not to sell afterall. Most of my regular sale rabbits who are not sold by entry deadline will be making the trip as well.

If you are seriously interested in any of the listed sale rabbits, contact me for more information and pictures of them. I am willing to let people who contact me have first dibs on particular sale rabbits in the order I receive the requests. If you have first dibs on the rabbit, you must make your decision by 12pm on Sunday or the rabbit will no longer be held.

Whisper
Hume's Whisper
Black Jr. Doe
View pedigree

Whisper is out of a nice cross, and she has a really nice body to her, but her cheeks are a little high, and stops are long. We'll see how she does on the show table, hopefully that nice body will make up for her marking faults. I will hold onto her for now, but she will be offered for sale at ARBA 2008.

Hope
Hume's Hope
Black Sr. Doe
Winnings: 1 leg
View pedigree, offspring record or show record

This doe is beautiful in type and all of her markings but her slightly high cheeks. She has a lovely big body and gorgeous head. She's got massive bone and substance throughout. She injured her leg when she was young, and the vet was unsure if she'd ever be a show rabbit, but she turned out fine and is now a mom! She will be offered for sale at ARBA 2008!

One of these bucks will possibly be offered for sale:
Jackson   Hume's Jackson
Blue Sr. Buck
Winnings: 2 legs
View pedigree or show record

Jackson is a sharp, masculine buck. He has a great head and ear on him and good substance of body. I feel that he is a little flat through the shoulders, but that hasn't stopped him from doing well on the show table. He does have one very short stop. I will be selling either him or his brother Gus at ARBA 2008.

Gus   Hume's Gus
Blue Sr. Buck
Winnings: 1 leg
View pedigree or show record

Gus is one of my favorite rabbits in the barn right now. He's super masculine and has a great head and ear on him. He's actually named after an exceptional Netherland Dwarf buck I know who has the same traits. His markings are pretty decent. I am hoping he has an exceptional show career. I will be selling either him or his brother Jackson at ARBA 2008.

Jezzie   Hume's Jezzie
Blue Sr. Doe
   Winnings: 2 legs
View pedigree or show record

Jezzie has great body type and has been doing really well on the show table from a very young age. I thought that her markings being off here and there would damper her chances on the show table, but they sure haven't! I'm really fond of her older sister, so there is a good chance that Jezzie will be for sale at ARBA 2008.

Duke
Hume's Duke
Gray Sr. Buck
Winnings: 2 legs
View pedigree  or show record

Duke is a flashy buck who is doing very well on the show table. He's well marked and has good ring and surface color. He reminds me a lot of his dad, so hopefully he will be as successful as his sire in showing and breeding. There is a chance I will be selling Duke at ARBA 2008.

Lady
Hume's Lady
Gray Sr. Doe
Winnings: 3 Legs
View pedigree or show record

I really, really like the body type on this doe. She's got a lot of substance and a lovely head and ear! Her cheeks are a smidgen high, leaving her blaze a little wider than I'd like though. Her color and ring are nice as well. I will see what she produces now that she's getting older, but she will be offered for sale at ARBA 2008.

One of these bucks will possibly be offered for sale:

Garth
Hume's Garth
Gray Jr. Buck
View pedigree

I really like this buck, Garth. He has great definition of ring and a lovely surface color. I am hoping it will stay this nice! Garth is just starting to hit the show tables, and so far so good. He's a little better put together than his brother, and just as well marked, maybe a touch low in the cheeks, but even. Either Garth or his brother Wayne will be for sale at ARBA 2008.

Wayne
Hume's Wayne
Gray Jr. Buck
View pedigree

Wayne is a little more petite of a buck than his brother, and he lacks a little fullness in the hindquarters. His markings are very nice, and he has a lovely head on him. Wayne's color and ring are exceptional like his siblings. Hopefully he'll do well on the show table! Either Wayne or his brother Garth will be for sale at ARBA 2008.

Cassie
Hume's Cassandra
Gray Jr. Doe
View pedigree

Little Cassie is well marked with good gray color. She's a bit hollow through the hip, but I'm hoping she'll mature out of that. Her personality is endearing though, as she loves to give kisses! I am excited to start showing her soon! There is a chance I will be selling Cassie at ARBA 2008.

Willow        Hume's Willow
Steel Sr. Doe
View pedigree or show career

Willow's got better type than her brother, as she rounds very well over the topline and has nice hindquarters. She's got great leg structure and overall her markings are pretty nice. She does have a almost full neck with a drag of color, but she's still done decent on the show table. She's also a little snipey through the head. She'll be for sale at ARBA 2008.
