With some of my blue bucks really getting up there in age, I wanted to find a new blue buck and I wanted him to have a nice set of shoulders to bring into my herd. Gene Knieling of Oregon has had really good luck with my line, so I bought Mick at NDS 2010. I haven't started using him yet, but I look forward to! In the mean time, he's been cleaning up on the show table!

Hume's Zeus

Zeus has a very masculline head and ear on him. Nice bone structure and is pretty well-marked. He has done quiet well on the show table, but he is beyond messy. Currently his coat is pretty stained, but he really does have nice blue color when he's molted out and pretty. He does have some grizzling about the ears, but none of the judges have commented on it so far. Zeus has been used for breeding and he is FOR SALE.

Hume's Winston

Winston is a very nicely typed buck. He has great substance to his bone, a nice head and ear and super height. He has some minor marking flaws, but I don't think they will hinder his performance on the show table. He is a messy boy though, but where he has molted out his urine stains, his color is beautiful!
