For Sale

Please Note: When I'm running low on sale animals, you can get on the waiting list for either show or breeding stock. The higher you are on the list, the better pick you get when I do have rabbits available! Many of my rabbits are sold before I even get a chance to offer them for sale!

Click here to get a sneak preview of a (very) tentative list of sale rabbits for the 2010 ARBA  National Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota

I try to keep the number of animals at Sycamore Rabbitry small, so there are often rabbits offered for sale. All of my rabbits have quality bloodlines, and are sure to improve your breeding stock. Prices depend on the quality of the animal you're looking to purchase. Special treaties can be made on breeding pairs and trios. Please note that I do not ship rabbits, so purchased animals can either be picked up from my place, or you can arrange to pick them up at a show I am attending. Please keep in mind that if you are looking for pets, I do not list them here, so you will need to contact me for details on availability. If you have any questions about the rabbits for sale, feel free to contact me

Sully
Hume's Sully
Black Sr. Buck
Winnings: 1 leg of G.C.
View pedigree or show record

Sully  is a very typey buck! He has a great topline, width, height, etc. I just love the way he is put together. Unfortunately his markings are another story. He's just off here and there and it really hinders him on the show table. I am hoping someone will take a chance on him and use him as a breeding sire. I am offering him FOR SALE.

Demi
Hume's Demi
Black Sr. Doe
View pedigree or offspring record

Demi doesn't have the best markings, but she has a great head and ear on her and a ncie wide body with good leg structure. I knew she would never do anything on teh shwo table, but I think she has some great aspects to her that would make her a good brood doe for someone. I do have a litter out of her and I just love her daughter. Demi is FOR SALE.

Turk
Hume's Turk
Black Jr. Buck
View pedigree

Turk is an oops baby - I left a carrier unlatched at a show and my brother/sister steels bred. So, Turk's pedigree is not ideal, but both parents were good-looking rabbits, and the babies are even better in my opinion. Turk is pretty well-marked except a anrrow blaze and low cheeks. He has an outstanding coat and a superior topline with great height. He is FOR SALE.

Dover
Hume's Dover
Black Jr. Buck
View  pedigree

Dover has some minor marking flaws but should still do well as a show rabbit for someone. He is long in body overall.

This little guy is actually quite nice, but he has a crook in his saddle on the other side.

April
Hume's April
Black Jr. Doe
View pedigree

April has nice markings overall except a very narrow blaze and low cheeks. She is very tall but a little long through the body.

Joplin
Hume's Joplin
Black Jr. Doe

Joplin is still quite young, but she looks liek she will be nice. Her makrings are all quite good except a narrow  blaze with a low, slightly hooked cheek on the left.

This doe is a real cutie, but she has a crook in her saddle on the other side.

Zeus
 Hume's Zeus
Blue Sr. Buck
Winnings: 2 legs of G.C.
View pedigree or show record

Zeus has a very masculline head and ear on him. Nice bone structure and is pretty well-marked. He has done quiet well on the show table, but he is beyond messy. Currently his coat is pretty stained, but he really does have nice blue color when he's molted out and pretty. He does have some grizzling about the ears, but none of the judges have commented on it so far. Zeus has been used for breeding and he is FOR SALE.

Goldilocks
 Hume's Goldilocks

Gold Sr. Doe

View pedigree or offspring record

Goldilocks is a daughter of my Bickelhaupt doe, Dar. She has her mother's lovely body, head and ear, but this does is well-marked as well! She is proven now, and I am willing to sell her, as I do not have the space for two gold does... And I would have a hard time giving up Dar as she is one of my favorite brood does!

Dora
Hume's Dora
Gray Sr. Doe
Winnings: 11 legs of G.C.
View pedigree, offspring record or show record

What a beauty Dora is! She is a large bodied doe with excellent hindquarters like her mother. She has good ring color, but her surface color seems to have gotten darker with age. She had an exceptional show career and now has been retired to motherhood. Dora is registered with the ARBA. Dora is FOR SALE - please contact me for details.

Kortney
Kortbein's K725 (Kortney)
Gray Sr. Doe
Winnings: Unknown
View pedigree or offspring record

I had lost my former Kortbein gray doe, Ginger, and wanted to replace her with a similar line since I liked it so much. Theresa Kortbein-Schwandt had this lovely gray doe (I call her Kortney) for sale at ARBA Convention 2007 and I brought her home. She's a deep bodied animal with a lot of substance and bone. I have decided to offer her FOR SALE because her bloodline is already so prevalent in my line. She is the dam of NDS 2010 open BOSV Gray!

Marlow
Hume's Marlow
Gray Jr. Buck
View pedigree

This picture does Marlow no justice - he is a VERY typey buck! Very round and full! I just love everything about him except he has a really low cheek on one side that dips into his whisker bed. It will affect his ability to be competitive on the open show table, so he is regretfully up FOR SALE.

Rico
Hume's Rico
Gray Jr. Buck
View pedigree

Rico is really well-marled but lacks fullness in the hindquarters. I think he would make someone a nice show animal. Good gray color. Being picky with what gray boys I keep because I have so many!

Tango
Hume's Tango
Gray Jr. Buck
View pedigree

Tango is the opposite of his brother, Rico. Tango has very good type, excellent height and roundness, but he has minor marking flaws throughout. I believe he would also make someone a good show animal and possibly breeding sire some day. Good gray color. Being picky with what gray boys I keep because I have so many!
