Hume's Flicka
Black Sr. Doe
Winnings: 9 legs of G.C.

Flicka was quite a hotshot on the table as a junior and
won a couple of BOBs. She has had a very successful show career, but is
ready to retire and become a brood doe. Flicka is marked well and has some
really nice qualities about her. Her big fault is that, in my opinion, she
is too long through the shoulders.

Hume's Jerzey
Black Jr. Buck
Winnings: 1 leg of G.C.

I actually quite like Jerzey. He has been a super looking
buck from a young age. He has always had a masculine and big-bodied look
to him. He is very round and has good markings. His coat has a very nice
feel to it, even if it is a little dirty (boys!) Jerzey has only been out
to show a handful of times, but always is in the top placings. He should
make someone an exceptional brood buck someday, and hopefully will continue
to show well!
Jerzey's dam is a BIS winner with 13 legs of G.C., and his sire was also
the sire of open NDS 2011's BOSV steel (out of a gray doe).

Hume's Comet
Black Jr. Buck

pedigree or show record
|
Comet has been a bit of a slow maturer for me. He is very
well-marked, but I was a little unsure about his body when he was young.
In the past few weeks though he has really blossomed, and is becoming quite
a handsome guy. I don't think he will end up to be a very big buck, but he
should stay nice and compact and round. And he has a lovely coat of fur coming
in as well!
Comet's sire
was also the sire of open NDS 2011's BOSV steel (out of a gray doe).

Hume's Tootsie
Black Jr. Doe
Winnings: 1 leg of G.C.

Oh Tootsie. What a cutie pie! She has a lovely head on
her, which is enhanced by her cute face markings. Actually, all of her markings
are quite nice except for long, but even, stops. She has a lovely coat of
fur on her as well. She has a nice body on her, maybe a tiny but long through
the shoulder, but not bad by any means. I had a tough time deciding whether
I wanted to sell her or not.
Tootsie's dam
is a BIS winner with 13 legs of G.C., and her sire was also the sire of
open NDS 2011's BOSV steel (out of a gray doe).

Hume's Tanzi
Black Jr. Doe
View
pedigree

I apologize for not having a better photo of Tanzi, she
is still quite young and a bit wild. She is really a little too young for
showing at Convention, but she is being subbed in as a sale rabbit, and I
think she mihgt do alright on the table regardless. She has a super coat coming
in, is very typey, and only has minor marking problems. She is just off here
and there, nothing too glaringly ugly. I am only selling her because I am
quite fond of her sister, and this way someone has a shot at a really nice
doe for sale!
Tanzi's sire has 12 legs of G.C.

***SELLER'S CLASS ENTRY***
Mazzy is a BEAUTY. You truly have to see her, pictures do her no justice.
She has some marking faults but absoultely lovely bone, width, body, hind
legs, etc. She peaks a touch too soon, but she is so tall and full that
you forget all about it when you've got your hands on her. She has a lovely
head and ear on her. Mazzy has only been shown a handful of times, but has
been doing very well. I had a really tough time deciding whether or not
to sell her, but I already have her parents and a full sister in my barn.
I would love for her to go to a great home!
Mazzy's dam has 14 legs of G.C.!

Hume's Harvey
Blue Sr. Buck
Winnings: 2 legs of G.C.
View
pedigree or show record
|
Harvey seems to be a love or hate kind of rabbit. Personally,
I really like him. He is a small rabbit, just makes senior weight, but he
doesn't look or feel as light as he is. He is very compact, typey and has
a masculine appearance. He is a very balanced buck with just a few very minor
marking faults. He has done well on the show table, but unfortunately some
judges just don't like a small buck. I think he'd be excellent for someone
to use as a herd buck to breed to those flatter, bigger blue does to cobby
up their babies!

Hume's Monty
Blue Sr. Buck
Winnings: 2 legs of G.C.
View
pedigree, offspring record or show record
|
Monty is a sharp looking boy. He has it all: markings, type,
and he is a proven sire to winners! He has sired BOB winners and does well
crossed on blacks or blues. He has always
been an easy breeder. He is unusual
in the fact that most of his pedigree is black rabbits. I have always really
liked Monty, as a junior I couldn't believe how quickly he developed a nice,
wide hindquarter. Sadly, I have way too many blue bucks I am using in my herd
right now, and I just can't bear to part with my older boys, so Monty is
ready to move down the road.
Monty's sire has 28 legs of G.C., and his dam was a 3-time BIS winner!

Hume's Maya
Blue Jr. Doe
View
pedigree or show record
|
Maya is a lovely young doe with a gorgeous body on her.
She has a really nice set of hindquarters on her and super head and ear. Her
blue color is rich and she has a good quality coat. She has a very bad undercut
that almost drags up far enough to give her a tied elbow, but she's never
been DQ-ed for it. She has consistantly been in the top placings the few
times she has been on the show table, but her markings seem to keep her from
winning her class.
|
Hume's Kora
Blue Jr. Doe
View
pedigree or show record
|
Kora isn't quite as nice as her sister - she's not quite
as wide, but she makes up for that in height! She has a few more marking flaws
that keep her from doing well on the show table, but I think she could still
make someone a nice brood doe. She has excellent blue color and a good coat.
Kora also has a lovely head and ear on her!
|
Hume's Margo
Gray Jr. Doe
View
pedigree or show record
|
Margo has some of the best gray color I have seen. Her surface
coor is very even and her ring definition is unbelievable! She is ridiculously
tall of a doe with a nice body on her. Unfortunately she is a little long
n the ear and snipey in the face, but it seems to be getting better with
age. She is marked pretty decent and has done well ont he show table the
few times she has been out!
Margo's dam was also the dam of the open NDS
2011's BOSV steel (by a black buck) and her sire also sired the open NDS
2010's BOSV gray who has 31 legs of G.C.!
|
Hume's Dottie
Gray Jr. Doe
View
pedigree or show record
|
Dottie is such a cutie pie! She has just grown on me more
and more the older she gets! She has a lovely topline and balances height
to width very well. She could be a touch fuller in the hindquarters considering
how wide she is through the midsection, but she is still pretty nice. She
is a big doe, and probably will be a big senior as well. She has lovely color,
and while her head and ear are big like the rest of her, they are very proportional.
She has excellent bone throughout her body and she shoud surely make someone
an outstanding brood doe!
Dottie's sire was the
open NDS 2010's BOSV gray and has 31 legs of G.C.!

Hume's Magnolia
Steel Jr. Doe
View
pedigree or show record
|
I REALLY like this steel doe, Magnolia. She is marked exceptionally
well, even down to her nearly perfect hairline! Her color is very even with
a quality coat. She may have a slight too much ticking in my opinion, but
still is a very attractive rabbit. She has a great body on her and exceptional
bone. I love her head and ear! I am just really in love with this little girl!
She is doing
well on the show table the handful of times she has been out and already has
a BOS win!
Magnolia's sire has 17 legs of G.C.!

Hume's Blitz
Steel Jr. Buck
View
pedigree
|
Blitz was a bit of a slow maturer but is starting to look
very nice. He is a very tall buck with a nice topline. I wish he were a little
more masculine about his build, but that may come with time still. He is a
very clean buck and has a quality coat of fur. He is a little light in color
on the topside, in my opinion, but it is very even. Blitz is marked pretty
well except one close elbow, but has never been DQ-ed for it.
Blitz's sire has 17 legs of G.C.!
